{"id":958,"date":"2012-09-15T17:07:57","date_gmt":"2012-09-16T00:07:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chriscarey.com\/wordpress\/?p=958"},"modified":"2015-09-27T14:50:53","modified_gmt":"2015-09-27T22:50:53","slug":"slug-magazine-2-2-adds-iphone-5-4-inch-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chriscarey.com\/blog\/2012\/09\/15\/slug-magazine-2-2-adds-iphone-5-4-inch-support\/","title":{"rendered":"SLUG Magazine 2.2 &#8211; adds iPhone 5 4-inch support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now that XCode 4.5 and iOS 6 is out, I decided to update SLUG Magazine iPhone app to support the new iPhone 5 and removed the &#8216;for iOS4&#8217; text on the loading screen (which was there throughout the iOS 5 release).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It only took a couple hours in total to make the minimum changes necessary to achieve 4-inch support, fix the background image and create a new 4-inch version, regenerate all the certificates and provisioning profiles, and get the new compiled app submitted to the app store.<\/p>\n<p>Though I did leave a whole bunch of details out. The app is still lacking retina images, among other things. We&#8217;ll get around to those eventually.
