This requires setting up Apple File Sharing (AFP) with Ubuntu Linux. This was a bit of a pain to set up. Got it working after a couple hours of struggle. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up netatalk to share a folder<\/li>\n<li>Add the .com.apple.timemachine.supported file<\/li>\n<li>Create the sparsebundle on your mac and copy it to the NAS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below are some links and more info<\/p>\n<p>I hope to type up a complete howto when I get time.
