Got to love that setup
When you add bitlbee to the mix, you get a really nice all-in-one chat platform (see this article I wrote on my blog some time ago).

Really neat thing. Funny, I’ved used irssi for many years but had no clue about the irssi-proxy module. As it turned out, my binary package were already pre-compiled with it, so all I had to do was to load it. Now, apparently, you can combine this with the PuTTY SSH tunnel feature; this will strengthen you, security-wise. Cheers!
